8.11.2024 Several SCOT members gathered for a wine appreciation dinner at Wine Climats, an exclusive invitation-only wine bar. We were very fortunate to have wine expert Kenny bring us through the basic steps in wine appreciation, starting with sight, then smell, and finally taste. Perfectly complimenting the two varieties of Burgundy Pinot Noir that we opened and savored was a delight of French-inspired dishes. The night went on as we shared our life stories, punctuated periodically by a soothing ensemble of saxophone, bass and vocals. Before we knew it, it was midnight and time to catch the last train home. It was a well worthwhile night of good food and wine, and even better friendship and camaraderie.
